Harrybones y yo volvimos a pintar en Madrid, junto a antiguo miembros de la crew Acme, graffiti con la vieja escuela de Alcorcón, amigos y una nueva cara.

Harrybones and I finally painted in Madrid again, together with former members of the Acme crew,, old school graffiti from Alcorcón, friends and a new face.

Hacia un año y poco que no pintaba en Madrid y se me hace raro porque es una ciudad que visito a menudo. Tengo mil motivos para ir, personales y laborales, pero en ninguno de los viajes del año pasado se dieron las circunstancias para que pudiera pintar.

Esta vez aunque por trabajo , no sólo pude pintar, sino que compartí grandes momentos con viejos amigos a los que he podido liar para hacer un par de episodios de Breaking The Rules. Otra cosa que parece mentira es que sea más fácil quedar con gente de otra ciudad (y otra comunidad) que con gente que vive a menos de una hora de mi casa. Cosas de la vida moderna.

It's been a year and a bit since I've painted in Madrid and it's strange because it's a city I visit often. I have a thousand reasons to go, personal and work-related, but none of last year's trips provided the circumstances for me to paint.

This time, although it was for work, I was not only able to paint, but I also shared great moments with old friends whom I was able to get together to make a couple of episodes of Breaking The Rules.. Another thing that seems incredible is that it's easier to meet people from another city (and another community) than people who live less than an hour away from my house. Modern life stuff.

Una vez más tengo que agradecer a Ysen que organizase el muro donde pintamos y en general que nos cuide tan bien (nevera, sillas, sombrilla…). Respecto al muro, sólo puedo decir que espero que se note lo bien que nos lo pasamos.

Revisando fotos con Zeta, nos dimos cuenta de que simplemente hay gente con la que las cosas salen “solas”. Y es que intentamos organizar una gama de colores para que todo estuviese armoniosamente conjuntado pero una vez más odio elegir qué colores usar o en qué orden usarlos.

Once again I have to thank Ysen for organising the wall where we painted and in general for taking such good care of us (fridge, chairs, umbrella...). Regarding the wall, I can only say that I hope it shows how much fun we had.

Reviewing photos with Zeta, we realised that there are just some people with whom things just "work out". We tried to organise a range of colours so that everything was harmoniously matched but once again I hate to choose which colours to use or in what order to use them.

Fue un placer que Chop se animara a pintar, aunque no sé porque pintó un pimineto y una V. Habrá que preguntarle a él. Estuvimos la mitad de Acme pintando en un muro después de no sé cuántos años y fue genial.. Asombroso. La alineación del muro continuaba así: Ysen, HarryBones y Caok.

La guinda del pastel la pusieron las visitas que se pasaron a saludar y en especial Den que se vino a tomar algo con nosotros, aprovechando un descanso del muro que estaba pintando en Fuenlabrada.

It was a pleasure that Chop decided to paint with us, although I do not know why he painted a pepper and a V. We'll have to ask him. We were half of Acme painting on a wall after I don't know how many years and it was great.... Amazing. The wall line-up continued like this: Ysen, HarryBones and Caok.

The icing on the cake was put by the visitors who came by to say hello and especially Den who came to have a drink with us, taking advantage of a break from the wall he was painting in Fuenlabrada.

Por cierto, estoy preparando el nuevo episodio de Breaking The Rules que en esta ocasión será con el gran Kami. Este capítulo estará dividido en varias partes, y supongo que quien conozca al escritor entenderá por qué.

By the way, I'm working on the new episode of Breaking The Rules, which this time will be with the great Kami. This episode will be divided into several parts, and I suppose that anyone who knows the writer will understand why.
